About the author
Peter Ritchie, AO joined McDonald’s in 1970. Peter spent 32 years as CEO/Chairman of McDonald’s Australia, was a Director of McDonald’s in New Zealand, Hong Kong, and Malaysia and served two one-year terms as Advisory Director on the Board of McDonald’s.
Outside McDonald’s Peter has had a distinguished, business career as Deputy Chairman for 22 years of the Seven Network, a Director of Westpac Banking Corp, Chairman of Mortgage Choice and Reverse Corp and was an original investor in Guzman y Gomez. Peter was also Chair of The Salvation Army’s Annual Doorknock Appeal for 10 years set up the first Ronald McDonald House at the Royal Alexandra Hospital for Children in Sydney.
